Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup butter (softened)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 1/3 cup pecan halves
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp Ale-8-One®
Instructions
- Line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper. In a medium sauce pan, add brown sugar, heavy whipping cream, and softened butter. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Once the mixture starts to boil, set a timer for one minute, then remove from heat.
- Immediately whisk powdered sugar into the mixture then stir in pecans, vanilla extract, and Ale-8 (work quickly so it doesn't set). Let the mixture cool until it becomes slightly thick (it will only take a minute). Drop evenly spaced spoonfuls onto the parchment paper. Allow to cool and set before serving.
