It had long been a dream of Country Radio DJ, Michael Bandy to commission a barbeque sauce. Bandy provided the flavor requirements, Ale-8-One provided the heat and KHI Foods combined the elements to create Ale-8-One Barbeque Sauce. Michael Bandy passed away in December of 2009 and a scholarship fund has been established in his name to benefit educational programs for 4-H and FFA in Kentucky from partial proceeds of the sale of this product.

Home grown Lexington native now in Louisiana; bought this when up there in November for Thanksgiving. This is a really good recipe of BBQ sauce. I’ve chosen it above others and especially when far from home. Telling family to bring it down when they visit

As someone who needs to eat low sodium for medical reasons this sauce is a godsend. You’d never guess the sodium was so low because the taste is off the charts!

As a long time Ale 8 One fan who knows my supply chain here in Ohio for my fav drink, my son knew my fondness for grill smoking and bbq’s and picked up a bottle recently. Well – wow – this was a surprise! If you “just” grill or take your bbq to the next level, this is a must have. Its good dipping sauce, but also a great soaking/basting bbq and awesome if you slow smoke your cuts of meat. An original bbq taste that treats you with spicy, tangy, sweet and that hint of Ale 8 One Ginger ale!!! GIT SUM!!!!!!

As a UK alumn, I have loved Ale 8 for decades. Every time I am in town visiting….I go home with cases of Ale8 Zero. Last time in town I saw the bbq sauce. I love love bbq and use it instead of ketchup on burgers, fries and (don’t judge) steak. I opened my Ale8 bbq yesterday and absolutely LOVE it!!! Now I will be coming home with soda AND Ale8 bbq. Amazing!!!
