OUR VALUES IN ACTION

Ale-8 has a long, proud history and a major reason that this continues is your commitment every day to our company.

At all times, but especially during challenging times, we lean into the company values.

Employee Celebrations

Welcome to the Ale-8 Family Savannah Elise Snowden, daughter of Josh and Sarah Snowden and neice of Matt Snowden

Wedding Celebration

Relief Driver Levi Tipton and his new bride Daryan were recently married on May 30th.  You may have seen Levi working in the warehouse as he was one of our staff members that was redeployed at the beginning of the pandemic. Please join us in congratulating Levi and Daryan and wishing them a lifetime of happiness together.

ORANGE YOU GLAD?!

Orange Cream Ale-8 is back by popular demand as a summer limited time offer.  To celebrate the first production run of 2020, orange cupcakes were offered on site May 20th.

Each April we recognize the employees that have been with the company 25 years or longer.  This year, we have newcomer Steve Thompson from Fleet Maintenance with 25 years under his belt.  There is also production veteran Russell Curtis with 27 years. Then we have Calvin Keller, a second-generation employee who followed in his father’s footsteps and has been with the company 28 years.  Finally, we pay tribute to Walter Lowe who is now our most senior member actively employed with 31 years of service.

NEW ADDITIONS

In 2020 the Ale-8 family has added some new members. Ben and Courtney Adams were blessed with Corben Ray, Sam Jackson and her husband Wes welcomed Sutton James Jackson, Leah Park and her family welcomed Strider Cronin Park and Ryan and Becky Ison are the proud parents of Rylie Elizabeth Ison.

HELPING LOCAL FOOD COALITION WITH RE-PURPOSED TRAYS

Mt. Sterling Food Coalition  serves 200 meals per week to those in need.  Tragically, their box provider went out of business and they had no way to store the meals.  They reached out to Erin Windell who was able to work with the warehouse to re-use trays that would have otherwise been crushed.  Ben Adams helped load the trays this week to help kick off the program.

We have agreed to supply the Food Coalition with 200 trays for six-weeks and if all goes well then a longer term partnership will be considered.

LOVE OF THE COMMONWEALTH

On March 21st, the governor asked all Kentuckians to join him in lighting their houses green since green is the color of compassion empathy.  Since green light bulb are in short supply, many Kentuckians are using Ale-8 Bottles to show their support.

Sheila Vaughn personally delivered Ale-8’s to the governor’s staff who is working non-stop during this crisis.  The governor delivers a daily address to the Commonwealth and many fans watch daily on Facebook with Ale-8’s in hand using the #ALE8withAndy.

COMMUNITY LOVE

When we found out God’s Pantry Food Bank services 50 counties in the Central Kentucky area and has a warehouse in Winchester, it seemed like a worthy organization to donate can breakers from the Ale-8 warehouse. Click here to read more from the Winchester Sun

Showing other essential servants some Ale-8 love, Sarah Chamberlain recently dropped off cases to the Winchester Post Office where they cheered when she arrived. She also visited Central Baptist Church who hosted a blood drive for the CKBC, S & G Sanitation and WMU.

In response to the request for respirators for medical centers, Ale-8 chose to donate to our local community and to support veterans of military service.  Sheila Vaughn is seen here donating cartridge respirators and Ale-8 cans to the VA Hospital in Lexington.
