Safety

Your safety is our highest priority.

Our Leadership Teams immediately followed the enhanced hygiene and social distancing recommendations of the Governor and the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services and we have confirmed with state health officials that we are taking every proactive and preventive step to stop the spread of germs.

Veteran Sales Supervisor James Jordan found that looking directly at someone who is too close and then taking a deliberate step backwards emphasizes social distancing in a polite and quiet manner.

Experts continue to stress the importance of proper handwashing as the strongest defense against the spread of viral infections.  In addition to the CDC guidance, staff  should reference the signs hung throughout the building at wash stations.

Several departments have implemented temporary remote work opportunities to limit the number of people in the building each day, but there are still jobs that must be done onsite, that’s why following the new SOPs are so important.

Common areas and items with the most potential for contamination are being cleaned and disinfected more often than ever.

Hand Sanitizer from the Kentuck Distillers has been obtained and distributed. Please keep your bottle so that it can be refilled. If you utilize disinfecting wipes, these empty containers can be turned in and refilled. For refills, see your supervisor or plant manager, Brent Henry.

Gloves have been made available and a voluntary cloth mask program has been established for anyone wishing to participate. Click here to view the CDCs recommendations on cloth masks.

While visitors have been restricted, some deliveries are still necessary to essential business and we have added a procedure to safely address this.
