2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
1 1/4 cups Ale-8-One
½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream together the butter and brown sugar. In separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and cinnamon. Add to butter and brown sugar a little at a time until well blended. Pour Ale-8-One into mixture slowly until a soft dough forms. Drop onto un-greased cookie sheet by teaspoonfuls. Top with optional chopped walnuts. Bake 12-15 minutes until lightly browned. Cool on cookie sheet for 1 minute before moving to a wire rack.
